Just having the gathering is a great idea on its own. But I really love the inspiration of linking the personal freedom implicit in libertarian ideals with personal responsibility, compassion and altruism. It seems counterintuitive to some, so needs to be shown that generosity and community are not threatened, but can be released to flourish under limited government. I'm ready for the Tea Party!
